Flood of 2008

Putting out the paper without air conditioning or lights and a skeleton crew is pretty insignificant compared with the scale of destruction in eastern Iowa. But I felt compelled to share a few behind the scenes pictures I took today of newsroom, advertising and circulation workers at The Gazette’s downtown Cedar Rapids office producing Friday’s paper powered only by an emergency generator. -Cliff
